Monday, June 22, 2015. Victory on Lake Ontario. The Chesapeake A30 Association sent 8 sailors north to try to win the Syronelle Trophy. We had two days of great wind and great one-design sailing, and the victory was on the edge, but in the end we won and the trophy is heading south for the first time in 20 years. The Alberg 30 Site

The Alberg 30 is a beautiful boat. And built by Whitby Boatworks in Ontario, she is both graceful and sturdy. The first Alberg 30 was launched in the summer of 1962. Since then, over 700 have been built. Almost 200 are members of the Chesapeake Bay Alberg 30 Association. There is also the Great Lakes Alberg Association. The Alberg 30 is well suited to both racing and cruising.
